As a student at Front Sight. I attended the 4-day defensive pistol class five times and DGed twice (distinctive graduate). The carbine class was simply amazing. But the best class I took was the 2-day advanced handgun class, in which we ran the 360 shoot-house at night, in the dark.
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute was once one of the premier firearms training schools in the country. They trained thousands of students the "comfort of skills at arms" in the Nevada desert. Front Sight started with a grand plan to be a mater planned community centered around firearms and firearms training. Brad Ackman was the chief of operations, bringing a wealth of knowledge from his time at Gunsite with the legendary Jeff Cooper. They always had great instructors who taught practical and applicable skills. Sadly, the Front Sight where many of us had life memberships is no more.
